At engage we're committed to providing you with information and help to set up a Child Trust Fund (CTF) for your child. A Child Trust Fund (CTF) is a savings and investment account for children.

Every child born on or after the 1st September 2002 who is a UK resident and for whom child benefit is being claimed receives a £250 Child Trust Fund voucher from the Government. The Child Trust Fund voucher amount rises to £500 for children in lower income families.

On the child's 7th birthday, the Government will make a further payment into your child's Child Trust Fund (CTF) of £250. Again, for lower income families this will be £500.
